THE SOUNDTRACK

Conceptual Summary

The feature-length documentary film Live at the Agora traces the history of one of the most iconic concert clubs in the Nation. Helping jump start the careers of many well known artists including Bruce Springsteen, U2, Eddie Money, The Cars, Todd Rundgren, Southside Johnny and many more, the Agora established itself as a launching pad for up and coming artists.

In support of the film, the soundtrack will act as a tribute to the Agora’s late legendary founder, Henry “Hank” LoConti Sr., as well as artists, staff and the venue itself. Many people credit their careers in the music business to the impact of the Agora and its founder. With this in mind, the soundtrack is meant to not only embrace the film, but also the people who are the heartbeat of the venue.

Staying in line with the spirit of the Agora, the soundtrack will highlight some of the best local talent while featuring top national artists that have graced the venue’s stage. This collaboration will embrace the two eras of the Agora as it went from its original E 24th St location to its current home on Euclid Ave. Including a mix of original and cover songs that span the decades, it will create an opportunity for the world to experience the soul and legacy of the Agora ‘in sound’ like never before.

The producers are seeking soundtrack participation from various diverse and talented artists with close ties to the Agora. These artists include John Oates, Richard Patrick, Eddie Money, Todd Rundgren, Eric Carmen, Michael Stanley, Ian Hunter, Trent Reznor, Pat Benatar, Neil Giraldo, Jared Leto and many more.

The twelve-song soundtrack is slated for spring 2026. It will be the initial release from Agora Records. At least one track will be released earlier to support the marketing of the film. Part of the final soundtrack proceeds plan to be donated to The Get Well Gabby Foundation in support of the fight against childhood cancer, a cause very close to the heart of the film’s Executive Producer.
